Congratulations!
All of LE|ISPC's dealers who have earned tickets to this year's vacation have done a terrific job over the past 10 months. We appreciate the strong effort everyone has given and we look forward to thanking you, in person, during our cruise to Alaska.
We've compiled a plethora of information and provided it here to make planning as easy as possible for everyone.
Explore these pages thoroughly and check back often as our departure nears. We'll be adding and updating information as it becomes available & in response to any additional queries we receive.
After fully reviewing these pages, if you have any remaining questions about the vacation, we ask that you contact our travel agent directly. You can reach Pat Tamalis at Travel Planners International at 727-687-7016, or via email at ptamalis@tampabay.rr.com. Pat will be traveling with us to Alaska, and will be a great resource for planning.
Packing Suggestions:
This year, packing may be a bit more of a challenge that it has been previously. The temperature in Alaska ranges from the mid 50's to high 70's depending on your location and elevation. You should plan on packing for a range of temperatures and environments as well as clothing for dress and formal dining. Add to this the airlines new regulations regarding luggage size, weight, and number per person, and, well...
Here's what we recommend: Limit yourself to 1 or 2 articles of casual attire; ie 2 t-shirts, 1 sweater, 1-2 pair of jeans & shorts, etc. Laundry services are available on the ship free of charge, and dry cleaning is also available for a fee.
Tis better to wash your clothes, than hassle with airline rules & regulations.
Many airlines are implementing 2nd checked baggage fees and altering thier oversize baggage limits. For your convienience, we have provided links to major airlines on our FAQ page (under Stuff you should know). We recommend checking with your airline for changes before departure.
Remember:
All travelers to Alaska must have a passport as we will
be traveling through Canada.
If you do not yet have a passport, apply today and expedite the return
service or you will not receive it in time for this trip.
Other items to take note of:
Beat the excursion reservation lines! You may register here for the cruise itself, and go here to register for the excursions and events you'd like to participate in. Of course you can register once on board the ship, but be prepared for a wait in line if you do.
The LeverEdge and ISPC will not be hosting any group activities this year. We are leaving you to spend your vacation however you see fit! We have compiled a list of activities we think you will enjoy however, on the Excursions page.
Again, congratulations and thanks to you all.
